The Pelicans claimed Jemison off waivers Friday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

The Grizzlies waived Jemison on Wednesday.

Jemison registered 17 points (7-9 FG, 3-3 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist, three blocks and one steal over 31 minutes during Friday's 108-90 win over Detroit.

Jemison is not in the starting lineup to face the Thunder on Saturday.

Jemison logged 24 points (11-13 FG, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and two blocks over 31 minutes during Tuesday's 109-97 win over Washington.

Jemison will start Tuesday's game against the Wizards.

Jemison produced 10 points (5-6 FG), seven rebounds and one block across 19 minutes before fouling out of Monday's 106-102 victory over Brooklyn.
