Utah exercised the third-year option on Hendricks' rookie contract Monday.

Hendricks scored one point (0-3 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 Ft) while adding two blocks in 19 minutes during Friday's 124-86 preseason loss to the Trail Blazers.
