Shved signed a three-year contract with the Russian club Khimki Moscow, baksetball reporter David Pick reports.
Shved did not receive a qualifying offer from the Knicks, making him an unrestricted free agent, NBA.com reports.
There is a good chance he miss the remainder of the season, with less than a month left. Langston Galloway will see an even bigger role.
This is definitely disappointing in the midst of the fantasy playoffs. Shved has been New York's best player, averaging 19.6 ppg, 4.8 apg and 2.4 3-pointers per game in the last five games. Shane Larkin will start in his place, but he doesn't have the same fantasy upside.
Shved has played well since coming to New York, from Philadelphia, averaging 14.8 ppg in 16 contests for the Knicks.
Shved will finish Sunday's game with nine points, two rebounds and two assists. Shved should be considered questionable for Monday's game. Shane Larkin will get a lot more playing time, but he doesn't have the fantasy upside that Shved has.
Shved has been quite the playoffs fantasy pickup this week if owners rolled the dice with him. He has scored at least 20 points in three straight games and Friday he hit 7-of-8 from downtown. Shved also had six rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal. It's not too late, if you haven't picked up Shved yet, go do it now.
If Shved can get one or two of those 3-pointers to go down, he would have had a very nice night and the Knicks likely would have won. Shved owners will settle for 20 points on 7-of-21 shooting with six assists, five rebounds, one block and one steal.
Shved was 6-for-14 from the field and 8-of-12 at the line. He also had three steals and three rebounds. Shved has become the best fantasy asset on the Knicks. He is averaging 17.6 ppg, 6.4 rpg and 5.6 apg over the last five games.
Shved scored 21 points after shooting 50 percent from the field, including 4-for-7 at the 3-point line. He also had 10 rebounds with seven assists, two blocks and one steal. Shved is about as good as it gets in terms of fantasy value with the Knicks. He is averaging 15.6 ppg, 5.0 rpg and 3.0 apg over the last five games.
