Maxey sustained a right hamstring strain and will be re-evaluated in approximately one week, Kyle Neubeck of AllPHLY.com reports.

The 76ers announced Thursday that Maxey is expected to miss a couple of weeks due to a right hamstring injury, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Maxey closed Monday's 118-116 loss to the Suns with 32 points (12-22 FG, 6-14 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 41 minutes.

Maxey amassed 32 points (12-25 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 6-7 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 40 minutes during Wednesday's 105-95 loss to the Pistons.

Maxey had 24 points (6-23 FG, 2-12 3Pt, 10-12 FT), two rebounds, four assists and one steal in 41 minutes during Friday's 115-107 loss to the Raptors.

Maxey had 25 points (10-31 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 39 minutes during Wednesday's 124-109 loss to the Bucks.

Coach Nick Nurse said Sunday that Maxey (thumb) is "okay," and he was only pulled from Friday's preseason matchup against the Magic as a precautionary measure, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.

Maxey (rest) will start in Monday's preseason against the Hawks.
