As part of a radio interview, Gilbert Arenas said he told Nick Young that he's working out in an attempt to resurrect his NBA career.
While we'd pay good money to hear a conversation between Agent Zero and Swaggy P, Arenas hasn't played in the NBA since the 2011-12 season and likely carries quite a bit of baggage in most GM's eyes. He's most recently been playing in China and may have to settle for a return to the Chinese Basketball Association rather than a return to the NBA, so fantasy owners can feel free to look the other way here.
Gilbert Arenas and Kareem Rush were spotted at the Lakers facility.
There's not much to this news. Neither player has much of a shot to make the 15-man roster, and they might not even be part of the 20 guys invited to camp. Arenas is likely headed to play in China again this year.
Gilbert Arenas will not be making an appearance at the LA Clippers training camp.
There were rumors that he may receive an invite, but Agent Zero put those to rest Monday night. The 31-year-old guard is likely to play in China where he averaged 20.7 points in 14 games last season.
The Clippers may invite Gilbert Arenas to training camp.
Agent Zero reportedly was charged with transporting more than 100 pounds of fireworks this month and he's usually been in the news for the wrong reasons. The former All-Star played in China last year, averaging 17.8 points per game in 14 outings. Arenas is a longshot to make the team.
Gilbert Arenas has been charged with transporting more than 100 pounds of dangerous fireworks, according to TMZ.
The incident occurred back in June after he was pulled over for speeding. Arenas had a truckload of fireworks and could he face up to one year in jail and up to $10,000 in fines. His next court appearance is scheduled to be next month. His six-year, $111 million deal from 2008 seems like a distant memory and his NBA career is in jeopardy.
