A defensive playmaker in the paint: he not only alters and blocks copious shots as a rim protector, he also shows a real nose for steals and is a strong rebounder. Boasts a good wingspan for the NBA post, and he has good reach for rebounding as well. Foul-prone, and he needs to pick his spots better in some defensive situations. Like many big men he struggles as a shooter (from the perimeter and the charity stripe) and isn't much of a passer either. A bit plodding and slow-footed, and he lacks ideal muscle mass for the pro paint and doesn't have ideally-sized hands for a big man.
