In his final season at the University of Alabama, he started 31 of 34 games for the Crimson Tide and averaged double digits in points (to go along with 6.6 rebounds per game). Is strong and sturdy in the paint area at both ends of the court and is an excellent rebounder and shot blocker. Does not have ideal height for a center but makes up for it in wingspan. Is not much of an offensive player at the NBA level, as he lacks low-post moves and does not shoot the ball from the outside well (or enough). Is mostly a defensive role player who brings work ethic and energy to the court every game. | |
Long Range Potential: | Hard-working, depth big man with a little upside. |
