Skilled, smart, and confident as a lead guard. Instinctive and deft running a team, setting up his teammates and taking advantage of what the 'D' gives him. Has ideal NBA point guard size and uses it to get into the lane and finish well in traffic. Hustles on defense, and is opportunistic poaching steals. Solid athletically but not particularly explosive, fluid, or long of limb (presenting man-to-man defensive challenges). Gets mistake-prone at times, turning the ball over by forcing dishes and taking shots he shouldn't. Still developing his one-on-one moves and his shooting stroke.
