Hill (hamstring) was waived by the Knicks on Wednesday.

Hill, along with Cam Reddish and a 2025 second-round pick, was traded from the Hawks to the Knicks in exchange for a protected 2022 first-round pick and Kevin Knox, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Hill is expected to miss the remainder of the 2021-22 season after an MRI on Monday revealed a right hamstring tendon tear.

Hawks general manager Travis Schlenk said Tuesday that Hill will be out "quite a while" after the forward tore his right hamstring "off the bone" in Sunday's 130-127 loss to the Hornets, Mike Conti of the Atlanta Hawks Radio Network reports.

Hill (hamstring) will not play Monday against the Timberwolves, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.

Hill exited Sunday's game against the Hornets with a right hamstring injury and will not return.

Hill will start Tuesday's matchup against the Jazz, Sarah K. Spencer of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
