Shareef Abdur-Rahim has been named as the general manager of the Reno Bighorns. He was a player personnel director for the Kings and will call the shots for their D-League affiliate. Abdur-Rahim was named as an assistant back in 2008 after retiring from the NBA once month before. He played in 12 seasons and made the All-Star team in the 2001-02 season.
