Morant (shoulder) will be fully cleared for basketball activities halfway through the offseason, Drew Hill of The Daily Memphian reports.

Morant underwent successful surgery on his right shoulder Thursday and will be out for the remainder of 2023-24, Chris Haynes of Turner Sports reports.

Morant chipped in 28 points (10-18 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds, nine assists and one steal in 35 minutes during Wednesday's 116-111 loss to the Raptors.

Morant racked up 26 points (7-15 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 9-12 FT), five rebounds, 10 assists and one steal across 35 minutes during Tuesday's 106-98 win over the Spurs.

Morant closed Sunday's 123-92 loss to Sacramento with 17 points (4-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-8 FT), three rebounds and three assists across 31 minutes.

Morant (illness) isn't listed on the injury report for Friday's game against the Clippers.

Morant is questionable for Thursday's game against the Nuggets due to a non-COVID illness.

Morant racked up 30 points (14-25 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, 11 assists, one block and one steal in 36 minutes during Saturday's 125-119 victory over the Hawks.

Morant totaled 20 points (7-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds and eight assists in 34 minutes during Thursday's 116-103 win over the Pacers.

Morant will start Tuesday's game against New Orleans, although coach Taylor Jenkins noted that he won't play "crazy minutes," Jim Eichenhofer of the Pelicans' official site reports.
