An excellent playmaker, he could be both a primary distributor and a clutch scorer. Big and tall, he used his size well to get into the paint and proved he could play effectively anywhere from point guard to small forward. Rebounded well. Was creative and limited his turnovers. Was also a great locker room presence. Lacked explosiveness, which (despite his size) limited him on the defensive end. Was not much of a ball-hawk, so he rarely jump-started a fast break. Was quite streaky at times as a shooter (from the field and from the free-throw line). | |
