One of the most explosively quick players ever, he had electric one-on-one moves. When on his game, he got into the lane almost at will. Created shots for himself as well as for his teammates. He really excelled in the open court. Had the ability to take over games as both a scorer and distributor. Was also clutch. Had a major history of knee injuries, which sapped some of his trademark explosiveness. As a result, he spent much of his late NBA career on the perimeter (rather than living in the lane and drawing fouls). Was never a top-tier three-point shooter. Was never much of a rebounder and was prone to turnovers. | |
