Thabeet finished with two points (0-1 FG, 1-1 FT) and six rebounds over 14 minutes in Tuesday's G League loss to Lakeland.

Thabeet posted two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one block over 21 minutes in Friday's loss to Grand Rapids.

The Fort Wayne Mad Ants drafted Thabeet 18th overall in the 2019 NBA Draft.

Thabeet is scheduled to appear in five-on-five scrimmages with the Knicks this week and the Bucks the week after, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports.

Thabeet played with D-League Select in the Las Vegas Summer League. He averaged 4.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks in 15 minutes per game through five games.

Hakeem Thabeet is hoping to return to the Oklahoma City Thunder next season. Thabeet has a $1.25 million team option for next season and should have his option picked up as long as the Thunder don't find themselves in salary cap trouble. The Number 2 overall pick of the 2009 saw his minutes dip to 8.3 per game this season, but would still like to return to the team who gave him a chance. "That's the goal," Thabeet said of coming back. "I don't know anything else. I haven't heard anything else. I'm going to be here over the summer working out. That's really all I can say about that situation." We'll update this situation as soon as more information is available, but 27-year-old doesn't hold much fantasy value heading into the 2014-15 season.

Thabeet has scored 25 total points during the entire 2013-14 season and hasn't fared much better in the rebounding category with just 35 boards. Despite his status as a former Top 5 draft pick, Thabeet is better off left unowned in every fantasy league.
