He logged 35 minutes in a start at PF vs. the Thunder on Thursday and it wouldn't be surprising to see him re-signed, though L.A. may wait until their next game on Wednesday or until the Feb. 20 deadline to maximize their roster flexibility.

Shawne Williams played 35 minutes and had 15 points, nine boards, one steal, two blocks and three 3-pointers against the Thunder on Thursday. He started out hot with 13 points in the second half and the Lakers really counted on him tonight. Williams fizzled out back in the 2013 part of the season and he's far from a reliable asset, but it's not a bad idea to pick him up and see what happens in deeper leagues.

Shawne Williams started over Ryan Kelly on Tuesday and hit 4-of-8 shots and two 3-pointers for 11 points, six rebounds and two blocks in a loss to the Jazz. Kelly had just three points in 18 minutes, but it's hard to say who Mike D'Antoni will start from night to night. If Williams happens to keep the job, he might be worth a pick up. But as of now, he's just another Laker no-name who had a decent night on Tuesday.

Mike D'Antoni will send out a new starting lineup with Shawne Williams at PF for Tuesday's game vs. the Jazz. Williams has started 11 games this season and the results have been unimpressive, with averages of 4.5 points on 38.8 percent shooting, 4.9 rebounds and 0.9 blocks per game. He may chip in a few 3-pointers and blocks but there's too much risk to use him in 12-team leagues.
