'Marcelinho' is a smart, pass-first point-man who isn't afraid to take the ball to the hoop and take his lumps en route. He's very good at leading a team and reading plays on offense, and doesn't make a lot of mistakes with the ball. Highly experienced and savvy, and a good outside shooter. Lacks overall size for the NBA backcourt and is sometimes a non-factor defensively against big, strong guards. Doesn't make up for his small size with elite-level quickness, and isn't much of a factor at all for steals.
