Smith is an underrated talent who might one day be a starter in the NBA, but for now he'll back up Holiday and compete with Rivers for minutes. Smith could well prove to be a steal here, although Jackson too has some untapped promise.

The Sixers actually selected Jackson in last year's draft (in the second round) so they're familiar with him. For now he remains an unsigned draftee, but might get a look as a backup to Carter-Williams (especially after looking great in the D-League this past season).

Smith probably has more fantasy potential than Jackson for the upcoming NBA campaign, but both are stuck behind starters on their respective new clubs. Both are worth deep sleeper attention, however.
