For Miami, this deal is a no-brainer. Adding Ariza to the team's bench as a swingman could help them down the stretch. Furthermore, subtracting Leonard (who recently got into hot water for a social media post) can also be considered a win here.

The Kings basically took anything they could for Ariza, who refused to play for them since he was acquired from Detroit in 2020. Leonard needs a clean slate and to move forward, but it remains to be seen if he will get much playing time in Sacramento.

Both Ariza and Leonard are non-recommendable fantasy options at this point. Neither player should be picked up.
