In Richards, the Hornets land a big capable of playing both power forward and center. He faces an uphill battle to see regular minutes as a rookie, but he does have some long-range potential. He is a good addition by Charlotte.

After selecting Richards with the 42nd overall pick in this year's draft, the Pelicans decided to move him to Charlotte in exchange for a second-rounder in '24. With Zion Williamson around, New Orleans did not need Richards.

This is a deal that may only have fantasy implications down the road. For now, Richards should only be a draft consideration in very deep keeper formats.
