The Cowboys have struggled badly on defense this season, and it is a major reason why they are 2-6 on the campaign. They have been especially bad at stopping the run, which is where Ankou may help. That said, he is a depth D-lineman; his impact will likely be minimal.

The Texans are in even worse shape than Dallas is in the standings, so it makes sense that they are selling off players before this year's trade deadline. The fact that they were able to get back a seventh-rounder in '22 for the little-used Ankou should be viewed as a win here.

There is no fantasy impact to speak of here, as Ankou will merely provide depth along the battered Dallas D-line.
