A seek-and-destroy type, he boasts the speed and mobility to make plays on the entire width of the field. A starter throughout his Big 12 career, he led his team in total tackles three times in four years and was first in the conference as a senior in tackles for a loss. His read-and-react skills are first-rate; he closes quickly on ball carriers and wraps up securely. Is sufficient in pass coverage with the speed to crowd and pursue receivers in space. Could add some functional strength for the pros; he opts for finesse over brawn often and can struggle against bigger tight ends.
