Is extremely efficient at closing lanes and denying the middle to opposing runners; he operates from a low, powerful base that is hard to budge. Exhibits great short-area quickness and uses a mix of tactics to outmaneuver bigger rivals. Is not the prototype for his position but is highly adaptable and tenacious in his approach. Was basically written off as a draft prospect due to his height deficit. Lacks the stature to frequently get in the quarterback's face.
