Has a very quick release and very strong arm, with the ability to deliver the ball into tight spots. Has worked to improve his accuracy and on getting better reads of opposing defenses. A student of the position who has learned to take advantage of his opportunities. Doesn't always make the most of his excellent physical tools; too often plays like a game manager when he could be airing it out and making bigger plays (and struggles deeper passes in general). Not all that mobile despite his good athleticism.
Long Range Potential: Decent backup quarterback.
