The playmaking cornerback won the Jim Thorpe Award as the nation's top college football defensive back in 2021. He has good size and build, plus coverage instincts. He anticipates well in coverage and has above-average ball skills, which help compensate for the fact that he lacks the wheels to match up against the NFL's top deep speed burners. Should fare better in zone coverage schemes that play to his strengths.
