Lacks for nothing in the tools department: his ideal height and athleticism got him drafted as a baseball outfielder by the Red Sox. Is at ease in the pocket, surveys the field and makes smart reads under pressure, but can also escape the heat, throw on the run or scramble for big yardage. Possesses enough arm strength for the deep ball but lacks touch. Needs to polish his game-management skills and get more comfortable taking direct snaps. Inconsistency and coaching issues persisted until his senior year in college. His athleticism enables him to play wide receiver and on special teams, too.
