A good athlete, he brought great speed, above-average athleticism and elite coordination to the pro secondary. Was a very sound tackler and used his wheels to step up and help out with the run (while also excelling on the safety blitz). Had some return skills, too. Was not an instinctive reactor in pure pass coverage and did not always read quarterbacks well. Sometimes arrived late to make plays, and did not always cover as much ground as he should have (considering his excellent tools).
