For the Titans this move helps their running back depth, especially since rookie RB David Cobb (calf) was placed on IR/designated to return). Look for West to back up Bishop Sankey in the early part of the season (with a chance to take over as the starting running back).

For Cleveland this deal was more about eliminating their three-headed monster at running back. With West gone, Isaiah Crowell should start and rookie Duke Johnson will serve as the backup (for now). The draft pick in this deal may not ever amount to much.

West's arrival in Tennessee hurts Sankey's fantasy value, while improving his own. In Cleveland, both Crowell and especially Johnson now boast far more fantasy value.
