The Bears are still searching for their next place-kicker, following Cody Parkey's missed field goal against Philadelphia in the NFC Wild Card game last season. Pineiro is the latest addition who will audition for the job. His main competition will be Chris Blewitt and Elliott Fry (unless Chicago adds someone else this off-season).

The Raiders are apparently comfortable with Daniel Carlson as their kicker for the 2019 campaign, so they decided to take whatever the Bears were willing to give up in return for Pineiro. The Raiders will receive a last-round pick in the '21 NFL Draft ONLY IF Pineiro is on the Bears' active roster for five games this season.

Fantasy kickers can be very hit or miss, pun intended. Therefore, Pineiro should not be on the fantasy radar for 2019 unless/until he wins the Bears' kicking job in the preseason. Even then, Chicago's kickers are usually risky business!
