Enjoyed a brief but successful stint at the University of Florida before embarking on a pro career. Developed his leg strength as a youth and college soccer standout. He reportedly declined a scholarship offer from Alabama’s Nick Saban in order to instead play for the Gators. Known to struggle with calculus on mid-range kicks.
