Free agent S O.J. Atogwe has announced his retirement from the NFL. Atogwe, 32, played seven seasons, spending his first six with the Rams and his final one with the Redskins in 2011. The former third-round pick was a ball-hawking centerfield-type safety who picked off 25 passes in his career. Atogwe spent last summer with the Eagles, but was part of their final cuts. In April, his plan was to come back. He received zero interest and is hanging 'em up.
