An outstanding run blocker who could really plow the field. A powerful O-lineman who used his strength to occasionally steamroll defenders. Possessed good bulk and power, plus surprising quickness. Was versatile too, with the ability to play guard or center. Wasn't a top-tier pass protector and didn't have the best technique against speedy pass rushers. Lacked the balance to contain the bull rush, playing high in his stance and getting pushed backwards.
