Less heralded than younger brother and NFL first-round draft pick Quinnen Williams (defensive lineman), he was hailed as a tackling fiend out of college--where he played multiple positions, including safety. Features terrific speed and acceleration, extreme wingspan and optimal body mass for a high volume stopper. Generates great striking force and a heavy payload; he is known to leave opponents shaken after contact. Is short for the linebacker position, which can present coverage issues. Is tightly muscled and must constantly be aware of potential pulls and strains. The jury is still out on his blitzing savvy and takeaway skills in the National Football League.
