A sound linebacker who was a finished product early on, thanks to his development at the University of Alabama, he is a very good tackler and can make an impact in run defense. Also boasts enough athleticism to cover tight ends and even running backs out of the backfield. Could stand to become a more aggressive player on passing downs, since he has the ability to put more pressure on quarterbacks (though he lacks consistency in that role).
