Rivals anyone in the league in pure throwing ability for both heat and distance; he can plumb the remote edges with pace, loft and accuracy. Owns good NFL stature and athleticism. Is a daring and aggressive vertical passer willing to gamble on high-risk attempts. Exhibits solid mechanics and can make strong throws under pressure from awkward positions. Missed a year of college after transferring to the University of Houston (from Texas A&M). His lack of extensive starting experience and game intellect can result in poor decisions, inconsistency and turnovers. Still a bit raw due to lost playing time but he is a talent.
