A natural and instinctive runner, he had crowd-pleasing return and receiving skills. Superb vision and speed made him an effective special teams weapon and an undersized but dangerous receiver, with smart open-field moves and breakaway hops. His potential for long gains enhanced his value as a decoy in the NFL. Lacked optimal height and catch radius; he was not a volume receiver and was limited to spot duty. At times he had trouble securing the football.
