Smart and aware, he throws the football with very good touch, timing, and zip. Reads the field well, finds the open receiver, and then uses impressive accuracy to hit his target while keeping it away from defensive backs. He's additionally pretty mobile in the pocket, and can power throws strongly when on the run. While solidly-sized and mobile, he's not the type of towering figure some NFL teams look for in a pocket passer and he's not a top-tier athlete who makes plays with his feet. Additionally, sometimes he tries to be too fine threading the needle (which can lead to turnovers).
