Possesses the key qualities needed to be a star NFL running back: excellent vision and anticipation, elusiveness and superb cutback ability, and supreme acceleration downfield. Shows patience early in his runs and then turbos to daylight for big gains. Also has solid physicality and perseverance when met by tacklers. Catches the ball fairly well out of the backfield too. Has been fumble-prone, injury-prone, and prone to getting in trouble off the field (all significant issues he needs to address as a pro). Also not much of a blocker, and must improve in this area to become a complete back. While a big-play type, he's not particularly fast in a straight line nor well-sized for a tailback.
