Is adept at setting the edge from the defensive end position, and plays the run fairly well. Can also jump up to bat balls down in passing situations, since he has the height and athleticism to do so. As a pass rusher, he lacks the burst and explosiveness of elite sack artists. That said, he does a decent job of occupying pass protectors to enable teammates to get to the quarterback. He is far more of a complementary player than a defensive star.
Long Range Potential: Solid, unspectacular defensive end.
