It took him a few seasons to make the transition from backup and special teamer to starting linebacker. The tools have always been there; top-flight instincts, mobility and tenacity count among his best features. Has risen to provide triple-digit tackles counts. Displays strong read and react skills versus the ground game and can turn and run with receivers in coverage. Is somewhat light for the position and has battled injuries. Must work on his consistency and maintain his production level.
