Explosive and forceful off the snap, qualities that help him regularly get into the backfield and also make plays sideline to sideline. Has a high motor and will keep playing until the whistle. Possesses good speed for his size, and is strong enough to play anywhere in the linebacker corps. Also very athletic. Has short arms for a pass rusher and isn't refined in his moves to the QB, factors that may force a move from end to linebacker in the NFL. Can be more consistent as a wrap-up tackler. Needs to round out his skill-set to become more of a factor is pass coverage.
