Brings solid size to the quarterback spot and plays even bigger thanks to an overhand delivery. Consistently gets a smooth, tight spiral on the ball. Shows promise running the play-action game, and excels at short-game passing. Has enough mobility to get out of trouble using his feet when pass plays break down. Needs a lot of work at making reads and going through his progressions on downfield plays; too often forces and telegraphs passes, leading to interceptions and incompletions. While mobile he's not a QB who can consistently create yardage on the run. Must show he can stay healthy after a torn ACL.
