Blessed with the ideal frame for an offensive tackle, he had the look of a true right tackle in the National Football League. His athleticism and quickness helped him greatly, especially in terms of run blocking. Was also durable. Lacked some pass-protecting acumen, especially when pass rushers forced him to change directions swiftly. Was able to play the blind side when necessary, which added to his overall value in the NFL. His retirement was quite premature.
Long Range Potential: Solid swing (offensive) tackle.
