Tall in the pocket with smooth, fluid footwork. Uses a consistent overhand delivery to get the ball above the defense and deeply downfield. Very accurate, with good instincts for leading receivers. A good game manager who does a solid job of locking in his options and finding his targets. Lacks a quick, compact release, leading to several issues: not fast getting rid of the ball under pressure, and too often lofts it into coverage. Doesn't bring the fastball nearly enough. Not mobile as a scrambler, and tends to get turnover prone under pressure.
