Highly patient and productive as a tackler. Sees plays unfold then hustles to get to the ball-carrier, wrapping up exceptionally well. Always involved in the action and around the ball, and doesn't give up until the whistle. Smart and fundamentally-sound. Lacks top-end speed and isn't big for an NFL linebacker. Doesn't have explosive quickness reacting in space. Can get wired to big blockers and pushed away from the play. While a very good tackler he won't intimidate with big open-field hits.
