Intelligent, efficient, and excellent blocking for the run game. Can be a true road grader off the snap, using his height and solid overall size to get into his defender and open up running lanes. Has worked hard and persevered to become a quality NFL O-lineman. Gets exposed as a pass protector by explosive edge rushers. Lacks great timing and commits to many false starts. A late bloomer who kicked around the NFL awhile before finding his niche, and must keep rounding out his game to iron out the rough spots (especially in protecting his quarterback).
Long Range Potential: Good run-blocking starting right tackle.
