Was fairly versatile, since he could play inside or outside linebacker in the NFL. Could also contribute on special teams. Was a solid teammate who was willing to do anything his coach asked in order to win football games. While he had ideal size for a linebacker, he lacked the athleticism and big-play ability of a starter at the NFL level. Therefore, he was best utilized on a rotational basis or as a pure backup.
