The journeyman defensive back bounced around the league throughout his career, rarely enjoying an extended stay. Huge by cornerback standards, he had obvious appeal as someone equipped to handle big wide receivers and contest the ball in the air. Read and defended the run extremely well with superior closing speed and a wide tackling radius. Was less effective in press coverage than expected for a big man. Lacked takeaway skills and was best suited to zone schemes.
