| A pure shutdown cover corner who just plain makes life hard for receivers. Employs a rare mix of anticipation, intensity, and agility to stay in his man's hip pocket through the entire route, and is highly physical from the snap. Plays with a real edge and makes QB's avoid him. Uses his solid speed, underrated strength, and elite explosiveness to stifle wideouts until the whistle blows. While physical and explosive he's undersized for the position, and doesn't make up for it with lights-out deep speed. Can be over-aggressive, over-physical, and over-intense sometimes (leading to some missed opportunities and the risk of flags). Although he's a shutdown guy he doesn't challenge much for interceptions, and he could bust up more passes in the air. | |
