Very reliable catching the football. Smart and sure-handed: knows how to get open, does the little things to succeed during his routes, and has big, soft hands. Really excels out of the slot, making quick moves to get open then drawing the ball into his body. Plays bigger than his size. Small for a possession-type receiver and not fast to make up for it. While hard-working and gritty after the catch he's not the type to regularly threaten for the 'home run' play. Not an ideal fit to line up outside. Occasionally makes body catches. A late bloomer.
