Broncos selected Michigan OT Michael Schofield with the No. 95 overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft.
Schofield (6-foot-6 1/2, 301) made 36 starts for the Wolverines, playing left guard as a sophomore before bookending LT Taylor Lewan at right tackle as a junior and senior. He ran an impressive 5.01 forty at the Combine, but underwhelmed in the broad (7'9") and vertical (24") jumps. While Schofield is a right tackle only, his 34-inch arms will help him compensate for athletic limitations in pass protection, and he was an outstanding drive blocker in the Big Ten. Schofield will compete for the starting right-tackle job in Denver this summer.
